I am a PhD prepared nurse who has 44 years of nursing experience in numerous areas. I currently hold several national positions within the American Critical-Care Nurses Association, the American Holistic Nurses Association and Healing Beyond Borders, so I have a wide variety of knowledge across several disciplines.

I am currently the only CNS on site at a 5 hospital system. We have over 800 beds systemwide with many opportunities for learning.

I have been a CNS for over 33 years and have precepted many CNSs. I really enjoy seeing the growth of all CNSs

I have 17 years of experience as an operating room nurse. I began my cardiac surgery specialty in 2010, followed by training as an RNFA in cardiac surgery in 2011. I worked as a travel nurse for 8 years and have recently transitioned into a unit nurse educator role for the CVOR
